Not real sexy numbers for him, but it was a double digit win for Barnett.

The shock of the night has to be the very poor showing by Robin Jennison. Guess he spent too much time traveling to nook-and-cranny counties rather than raising money.

For those of you at the 'unity' party, did Canfield ever conceded victory? We have also heard Canfield was the only candidate who did not call Barnett to offer congratulations and concede victory.

Verrrry classy, Ken. Way to 'lead by example'. Great example from a Christian man.

The primary is over. Now let’s act like it. Barnett is a great candidate we can all support.

On to victory in November!

Jim Barnett is a good guy. He would be a decent governor, a better governor than Kathleen. Unfortunately his running mate is not a good person. Susan Wagle is a liar. I don't use that term in a flippant manner. She will bend and break the truth to further whatever cause she is championing at the moment, and if she discovers a cause won't promote her political career she will drop in a second. Susan Wagle is not capable of providing leadership that is worth following. Many of her colleagues, including some conservatives, think she is crazy. If you have worked with Wagle you know you need to watch your back at all times. Many people in Wichita and Topeka who have come to know her have also come to loathe her.

As a life long Republican I would like to vote for Barnett, but as long as Susan Wagle is on the ticket I'll have to make other arrangements.

Sebelius doesn't think she can be defeated. There's no doubt about this. Hopefully the GOP can really come together this fall...it's about time.

I don't think Wagle is crazy. However, Barnett is running for governor, not Wagle. The Lt. governor wanders around the Capitol and looks bored.

Vote for Barnett--he will make a much better governor than the what we have now.

It's by no means statistically valid, but KAKE news is running an opinion poll on Barnett v. Sebelius:

He's winning with 52.8% currently. Take it with a grain of salt, but it's sort of interesting.

So do you work for Sebelius at this blog?

OT: I think you should have kept the drooling Canfield commenters' comments on the post a few posts back. You know, give people something to Google for.

Just the opinion of one humble blog admin to another.
